Differences between biochemical, hematological and coagulation parameters among patients with mild and severe COVID-19

Introduction: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrom coronavirus 2 and causes a series of symptoms. Considering appearance development symptoms, course can go from mild to severe. Depending on Covid-19, laboratory parameters change lot, trying defend organism against foreign pathogen all changes it causes. Therefore, aim this study observe differences between biochemical, hematological coagulation depending stage patients. Material methods: We conducted cross-sectional which included 160 patients Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina. Biochemical, analyzes were performed. Results: with clinical have higher average values fibrinogen (6.53 ± 4.47, p < 0.001), D-dimer (6.89 7.81, APTT (32.05 5.96, = 0.002), eosinophil (0.66 0.09, 0.002) CRP (93.42 75.86, 0.023), lower lymphocytes (1.04 0.98, monocytes (0.45 0.3, compared course. had neutrophils (10.12 5.80, reactive (0.02 0.03, 0.001) Conclusion: be sensitive specific biomarker for distinction Covid-19.
